”Break Free” is Jhonny K’s first album. This was his dream come true of wanting to record a full album of his music to a professional level. He recorded this album with the uniquely gifted Griffin Boice of Century Records. Together for many long nights they took each song, broke it down and made it what you see now. Originally released in 2007 and re-released April of 2012 with some added artists and surprises, “Break Free” was written with the intent to lift the listeners soul while also having a good beat to help the head nod along.

A one HUGE thank you to Griffin Boice of Century Records where I recorded this album. We worked long and hard together on this for 6 months in 2007. Griffin was responsible for taking the concepts of my music from a scratch track to a masterpiece. He mixed, mastered, produced and engineered every track to make each one what I wanted it to be.

Thank you also to Scott Foster for his thoughts, voice and guitar work. John Hendricks for rockin out on hand drums and his skills inspiring me. Nathaniel Davenport for his organ, piano and bass work. Kalea Christman for working with me with writing and singing, I love and always will love your voice.
